Welcome to the St. Helena Home Educator's Support Group

We are a small group of faithful Catholic home educators.  We love our Faith, we love family life, and we enjoy educating and forming the children God entrusted to us.  Home education is not the only way to a happy and healthy family life but it is a viable option.
Homeschooling is a unique calling that demands a great deal of time, energy, discipline and patience.  If you are a Catholic home educator in need of support of like-minded women, St. Helena Home Educator's Support Group is for you.

Ongoing Support every Friday!

Fun Friday's at St. Helena

Home educators, stay at home mothers and children are especially welcomed every Friday afternoon from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. except 1st Friday for which we meet for Mass and dinner.  We gather weekly for Educational opportunities and fun for Homeschoolers, Nursing mom support, and Playgroup for Toddlers.  We have lots of games and activities for children of all ages.  End your week with a celebration by gathering with good company.

Families are encouraged to bring drinks and snacks for your children.  Moms, come out for mutual encouragement in your pursuit of holiness as lived out in the vocation of motherhood.  You are making the world a better place one child at a time.

Prayer

Every 1st Friday of the month, in honor of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, join us for the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass at 6:30 p.m.  Confession is available at 6:00 p.m.  The Church is full of young families and their beautiful children.  Don't worry about busy toddlers or sweet sounding babies.  Children are suppose to out number the adults in Mass.  Following Mass, we have a special Pot Luck dinner and fellowship. It's a great way to start off your month as a family that prays together.

Adoration

Adoration is now available every Friday in the St. Helena Church from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m.  Schedule a special time to visit Jesus as often as you can.  Please send inquiries to sthelenatruecross@gmail.com

Mom's Night Out!!!

Mothers are invited to take a night off from their regular duties in life.  It is very healthy to take care of yourself while caring for your precious family.  Come out and enjoy an evening of good food and good company.  We meet every third Thursday of the month at 6 p.m. at various restaurants in town.  Eating dinner is not required.  You may join us for tea or dessert.  It's your night.  Of course, nursing babies are always welcomed.
